Explosion on a Taliban Corps Bus Injures Three People in Mazar-e-Sharif –

According to Taliban security officials in Balkh province, the explosion took place this morning, May 19, in Mazar-e-Sharif’s district 5.

According to provincial police spokesperson Mohammad Asif Waziri, the explosion targeted a minibus, belonging to the Taliban’s 209 AlFath corps, carrying civilian corps employees during the morning rush hour.

He also added that the explosion which occurred near Khaliqdad public school, wounded three civilians, who were taken to the corps hospital.

No group or individual has yet claimed responsibility for the explosion.
