Pakistani Media: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Has a Significant Presence in Afghanistan –

Several thousand Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan aka Pakistani Taliban fighters are reportedly preparing military attacks against Pakistani government forces on Afghan soil, according to Pakistani newspapers.

According to the Express Tribune, Pakistan Taliban fighters have assembled in Afghanistan for their long-running struggle against the Pakistani government, citing a report by the UN Security Council monitoring team on Friday.

According to the report, Pakistani Taliban fighters make up the majority of foreign combatants in Afghanistan.

The report emphasizes that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) group benefits the most from the Taliban’s presence in Afghanistan, and that the Taliban’s rise to power has empowered them.

In a 25-page report, the UN Security Council described the presence of several thousand Pakistani Taliban fighters as a serious threat.

According to a UN report released recently, the al-Qaeda leader has also pledged his loyalty to the Taliban leader.

The report raises concern that the Taliban is once again turning Afghanistan into a terrorist “safe haven.”

The Taliban, on the other hand, has refuted the allegations, claiming that no foreign fighters are present in Afghanistan.
